Removal of Basic Fuchsin Red dye by Turmeric leaf waste biochar: Batch adsorption studies, isotherm kinetics and RSM studies

<p>In this study, the basic fusion dye was adsorbed from wastewater using turmeric leaf waste biochar and experimental outcomes were fitted with isotherm kinetics. Further, Response Surface Methodology (RSM) also performed to analyse concurrent interactive effects of process variables. Pyrolysis biomass resulted in yield 44.65% at temperature 300 °C. The had moisture content 4.21%, volatile matter 45.38%, ash 17.74% fixed carbon 32.65% respectively. batch adsorption studies showed maximum removal 87.44 % 71% 35 °C, dosage 0.3g, time 60 min, pH 7 concentration 50 ppm respectively for data obtained equilibrium condition well pseudo-second order Langmuir R2 value 0.98 This study provides base usage leaf-based synthesis effective aqueous environment.</p>
